A dragonfly landed on me today, and while i freaked out about it, i killed it. Then when i got home i looked up what it meant.

I feel sad now. And really stupid.

Harry Potter, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Twilight, Maximum Ride, Fanfiction.net, the list goes on and on.

Basically I need something new to obsess over.

I keep trying to go back to those obsessions to reclaim the feeling that happens when I am perfectly content and scaring others with my knowledge of a certain fandom.

I get this feeling the most in October. I find a great fandom and stay with it till the series ends. But what happens after that? Its nearly impossible to find something new to love when its not October. It is at that time I try to restore old fandoms to my heart, but each attempt is fruitless. Without a fandom, its hard to focus.

So please, I need help. I need an obsession. I need October.
